Finally an entry but sadly no pics
Yeah I know it's been a whole week but I haven't actually touched the Gundam until yesterday and continue on today. I was able to finish the torso and legs so it can now stand like a humanoid which looks pretty cool. I can't seem to upload my pictures from my laptop beause apparently blogspot hates macs, who knew? I also did the shield because I thought it would look nice with some weapons but I didn't feel like making the rifle so I just stuck the beam sabers on it. I think it looks quite lovely even though I noticed the legs are not as maneuverable as say the MG Strike Gundam. Still it is quite a fine model and I can't wait to finish the wings and other weapons. Sorry again for the lack of pictures but I'll be sure to get it up when I can.

Finals over, Production ramped up!
I'm so glad that my finals are over. I am able to work on my gundam. I finished the arm today and the boomerang things on its shoulder. I decided to make the stand so that it wouldn't have to be sitting on the table and potentially scratched all the time.

I think it looks a lot cooler now although I might've drawn too many lines on the boomerang. Oh wells... Here's the stand and my wallpaper of my computer!

Man this is taking me forever
Took me three hours to finish but I made the right arm. It's the sanding that takes most of my time. I use 320 then 400 and finally 600 grit. I like the chrome hands though some of the places where it was connected to the spruce aren't chrome-ish since I had to rip it out. I hope to find more time over the break. Finals week is a very busy time...

Heads up!
I like the antennae even if its very long. It looks nice though I have to admit.
The panel lines were really hard to do! I kept smudging it and making the lines too thick so I had to redo it quite a few times!

I suck at FPS
So I tried playing Gears of War on medium difficulty and, boy do I suck! I'm going to have to practice it a lot, that means lots of dying but I don't mind because it really is a fun game. Oh but in my defense, I am much better on PC because of the mouse; it really is just more precise.
My haircut is quite short. I dislike it very much not only because I find it unattractive, but because most of the insulation for my head is now nonexistent, leaving me very cold.
I can't wait to get back to my dorm so I can work on the Destiny again. I have some paint I found today at home and in the store that I think will look quite good on the destiny. No need for ugly stickers! These paints will be normal brush paint though. I am interested in airbrushing but I have no experience. I've done some research and know that I want to use an air compressor instead of canned air so that will cost me quite a bit. If you have any tips on that, like any good air compressors, techniques, or just comments, I'd love to hear it.

MG Destiny Body
Finally finished the body today. Took a bit of time, especially with the paneling. I like how the inking of the back came out, although my finger touched it later and took off some, so i had to ink it a couple of times. The body looks great, and the sanding technique doesn't look all that bad I think. I actually like it. Gonna start on the head some other day; I'm worn out for now.

First steps of a master (gundam) piece
Sorry for the really stupid title...I'll get better. Had some free time today to start working on the Destiny Gundam. I only got to make some of the inner body because I think I"m going to take my time. Not sure if you'd notice but the collar is black. I spray painted it cuz I didn't like the grey it came with -- too glossy, tried to sand it off but the grey had a scratched look which I didn't like -- so I sprayed it with black, which I think will make it look nicer. I also took the time to spray paint the black parts a nice flat black. It's very smooth and looks nice. I think I got high from the fumes though.

Second Try! Thanks-for nothing-giving
OKay OKay so I forgot that this blog is more than about my gundam. I went home for turkey day as most everyone did but mine was horrific! I bet no one else can say that their thanksgiving was ruined by a pair of nuns! and not even the flying kind, that wouldn't be too bad if they accidently crashed-landed at my house-in fact that'd be kind of cool... But yeah NuNs! Viet ones too! They stayed longer than was expected and kicked me out of my room for a few days. One of them kept interrogating me (not my brother because you always go after the weaker kill i suppose) about my Vietnuhmeesapeas. Gosh I know how to speak and read and write lady, so back off and help some poor third-world country kid already, becauseI ain't it. And the worst part is that for some reason the turkey disappeared after the meal, never to be seen again. Now you might be thinking, what's so wrong about that, aren't you sick of turkey meat by now? Simple answer is no, complicated answer is no way! Theres turkey left overs for a reason, one sweet delicious reason: turkey sandwiches! I can't believe my parents got rid of it, I can only think they did because they thought that left overs would look bad to our nunnerish guests.
Well I'm glad to get that over and start gearing up for finals. After that, I'll have lots o' time to go out, hang out, pig out, making model out (i don't know either), gaming out, and sleeping out. Time to do some homework.

First Post
So I just go back from class and guess what was in the mail? My new MG Destiny Gundam Extreme Burst Mode that Yenn got for me as a Christmas present. I know that it's really kind of early (a month in fact), but am I complaining? Nope. This MG is really detailed and looks like it'll be really awesome. I need to buy some shiny green paint for the eyes and lights on the head though! I can't wait to start on it, though I don't have much time right now since finals is coming up.
